Today I am please to announce that MBP has officially launched our new website and our new blog. We think they are great and we’d love to get your feedback.

Our site has a few parts that I’m still tweaking so bear with us.

Tammi + Daniel’s Wedding

This weekend Carly and I had the pleasure of photographing Tammi and Daniel’s wedding. It was the most beautiful outdoor wedding we have ever been too, the weather was perfect. We waited a whole year for this one and it was worth it.

Tammi and Daniel were great models – and we think their photos turned out great.

Julie + Rob’s Engagement Session [Teaser]

All I’ve got to say is that Julie, Rob and Bear are very brave. Not all our couples would scale a fence (ok we went under it – but scale sounds cooler) and break into (ok the door was open) an abandoned building for a photo shoot.

Other than a nail though my shoe no one was hurt – but we got some awesome photos.

Tammi + Daniel’s Wedding [Teaser]

Tammi and Daniel were very lucky, they had one of the most beautiful outdoor weddings I’ve ever been too! The weather was perfect and they looked stunning.

I’m in the middle of editing their photos but I had to get this one shot posted right away!

There is a surprise at every wedding – at Tammi and Daniel’s it was a sneaky racoon who stole a whole plate of mini sandwiches.

Jas + Albert’s Engagement Session

This weekend I got together with one of my upcoming summer wedding couples to shoot their engagement session. Albert works in the financial district so when I asked if there was anywhere in particular they wanted to have their session he said King and Bay. We had a lot of fun going up and down alleys and side streets to find unique locations. Jas and Albert were a joy to work with – even though they didn’t think they would be good in front of the camera they did great, I felt like I was shooting professional models – I can’t wait for their wedding.

Toni + Ryan’s Wedding

This past Saturday we got to cover our first may wedding of the season – on top of that it was right in our neighborhood. In fact we passed our house 3 times while going from location to location.

Out of nowhere came the rain. Luckily the rain was short and all we really had to deal with was clouds (which photographers love by the way)

2009: It’s all about giving back to the community

My wife Carly and I have been so blessed over the last couple of years. We’ve got a beautiful young family, 1 boy (Jacob) and 1 girl (Katelyn) and our photography business is thriving.

This year we decided that we wanted to give back to our community. We’ve decided to use our talents and provide free photographic services.

This weekend was our first official charity event of 2009 and it was a blast!

This Saturday was the official kick-off of earth day week so we provided Earth Day Hamilton-Burlington with coverage of their 5 km charity fun walk/run and their afternoon of tree planting to support sustainability in the local ecosystem

Thanks to everyone at Earth Day Hamilton-Burlington – we had a blast and we’re glad that we could do our part.

Keep an eye out for the next chapter in our “Giving Back” series – we’ve got one that is really close to our hearts that we are trying to setup.

Tiffany + Joel’s Wedding [Teaser Shots]

This weekend Carly and I had the pleasure of shooting Tiffany and Joel’s beautiful wedding. It was held at one of the most unique places we’ve had a chance to work at – Fantasy Farms.

Everyone was supportive and easy to work with during our photo shoot and as a result we got tons of great photos. Thanks for braving the weather guys !

Our booth at the Canada’s Bridal Show

We had a great time this weekend at the bridal show. We met so many wonderful couples it was truly a joy and we wish you all the best with your upcoming weddings.
